    2025 edition

    In the heart of the Les Arcs ski area lies the fabulous natural site of the Deux Têtes, with a panoramic view over the Haute Tarentaise valley and the Mont Blanc massif.

    This is where highliners from all over the world gathered, from beginners to the best international athletes, in a friendly atmosphere with the neon colors of the 80s!

    This year the spotlight was on surf highline: an impressive and hypnotic discipline! The show was visible to every skier passing the top of the Mont Blanc chairlift.

    For introductions, the general public could join the gathering and activities on the place du Soleil in Arc 1600.

    Invitational, 2024 edition

    In the heart of the Les Arcs ski area lies the fabulous natural cirque of Fond Blanc. This year, exceptionally, it hosted the festivities!

    The association brought together around fifteen of the world’s best athletes to cross the 570 m wide cirque!

    During the event, Tania Monier and Tijmen Van Dieren set a new tandem world record (two people crossing together while holding hands).

    The athletes made the most of this new playground by combining highline, freestyle skiing (Coline Ballet-Baz) and paragliding, capturing these feats in unique images.

    This highline, the longest in Tarentaise, was named Highpowcalypse Snow as a nod to the valley’s pioneers.

    Once again, the Deux Têtes spot welcomed highliners from all over the world, from beginners to the best international athletes, in a friendly atmosphere with the neon colors of the 80s!

    The spotlight was on highline freestyle: a fast growing discipline, with the world’s best athletes present for this stage of the World Cup!

    A speed competition (speedline) took place on the two longest lines of the site (250 m).

    The general public could join the gathering through activities on the place du Soleil in Arc 1600.

  4. 2022 · #7

    After 3 years off, the festival came back in style!

    For the first time it hosted an international highline freestyle competition, whose innovative format became a reference for the discipline and has been used in every competition since.

    2019 – 2021

    • 2021: cancelled again. Once more, a lockdown was announced 1 week before the festival.
    • 2020: cancelled. Covid arrived, and lockdown was announced 5 days before the festival…
    • 2019: a year off from organizing the festival.
