2027 World Cup – First stop

Highline is a modern take on tightrope walking, on a 2.5 centimeter wide elastic webbing rigged high above the ground. Highline freestyle is its acrobatic discipline. Athletes chain rotations, twists and spectacular tricks.

The ISA World Cup Series is the discipline's first world circuit, launched by the International Slackline Association (ISA). The Les Arcs event is the first stop of the 2027 season.

Born in Les Arcs

The battle format was created here, at the Deux Têtes, in 2022. It is now used in almost every world competition, World Championships included.

Why this format? The competition is played only in battles, with many combos: we want athletes who can land them again and again, and variety to avoid repetitive battles.
